score:

Happy hour at Chandler's has changed, after a eight month haitus. You can now enjoy excellent sushi and otherwise prepared appetizers at half price while practically sitting on top of Lake Union. On this beautiful, hot Friday Chandler's was packed with only one or two tables available. Clint, the bartender is just as nice and friendly as you can find, the patience of a saint that man.

score:

Daniel’s Broiler is one of Seattle’s busiest happy hours, this reviewer literally got the last seat available at the bar. On this cloudy Thursday afternoon there was still seating available on the deck. The deck has a great view of Lake Union. Daniel’s is known for it’s great food and offers cheap samples during happy hour. David, the bartender, is as sweet and fast as they come.

score:

Eastlake Bar and Grill offers great happy hour. Although the bar has ample space, it was full this sunny, fall Thursday. But happy hour is offered throughtout the restaurant and outdoor deck. No smoking is allowed in the restaurant, but okay in the bar. Eastlake has a mixed crowd of neighborhood regulars sitting at the bar and young hipsters sitting at the tables.

score:

No pool, no darts, no outdoor seating--just Hooters! Never a problem with the service, each waitress is required to stop by your table and say “Hi, these are my breasts.” On this cloudy, Thursday afternoon, the joint was rocking, fun and full, but tables were still available. The food is standard fare, but where else can you see young girls dance and shake it?

Joey's

Seattle, WA 98109

3pm thru 6pm Monday thru Friday

score:

Joey's is swank new spot where Cucina! Cucina! once lived. Just three months old, Canadian-based Joey's was pulling in a pretty good crowd this sunny, Friday evening, but there were a few of the deep, tall, comfy booths available. Although Joey's doesn't offer happy hour food specials, they do give you one tiny, incredibly yummy Ahi Tuna Taco for free. Happy hour is only available in the lounge, which is non-smoking. And men; the female staff at Joey's has brought the little black dress to a whole new level.

Serafina

4pm to 6pm Monday thru Friday

score:

Serafina is a charming little Italian place at the south end of Eastlake Ave. During the summer they have a back patio surrounded by a lovely garden, but this fall eveing it was abandoned. What makes Serafina's happy hour special is the food, which is not the typical happy hour food. Instead, they offer the appetizers available on their regular menu with smaller portions. Happy hour at Serafina is a great opportunity to sample the treats of one of Seattle's most beloved restaurants.
